Gurusthan translates into the place where the holy Guru dwells. Gurusthan is a place where sai baba used to spent his time when he first came to Shirdi, and also where, according to Baba, the tomb of his own guru is located, by the neem tree. Sai Baba was the first spotted seated under a Neem tree.Due to which this place came to be known as Gurusthan

Lendi-Bagh

Towards the northwest of Sai Baba’s Samadhi temple there is a Lendi Bagh. It is used to be an empty wasteland once upon a time, but Sai Baba worked hard to turn it into a flourishing garden. He also dug a well near the garden area with the help of the villagers to ensure consistent supply to the plants.

Abdul Baba's Cottage

Just opposite the Baba's Chavadi next to a couple of tea stalls there is a small entrance with a sign above it:"Abdul Baba's cottage". This is the room where one of the devotees serving Sai Baba, Abdul Baba, lived for the last years of his life.The building is open to the public and there is a pair of chimta (fire tongs)kept here.

At a short distance lies Baba's CHAVADI. Baba used to sleep here every alternate day. The Chavadi is divided into two parts. One part of the Chavadi has a large portrait of Baba along with a wooden bed and a white chair belonging to him.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments.

Khandoba Temple holds special importance not only for its ancient origin, but also for being associated with Sai Baba. It is located on the main road in Shirdi. Baba came to Shirdi for the frst time with the marriage procession of Chand Patil. When the marriage party halted at the entrance gate of Khandoba Temple, the man priest Mhalsapati welcomed Baba saying "Aao Sai" (come in Sai). Since then, Baba, whose original name was unknown to all.

The Hanuman Mandir is one of the oldest temples in Shirdi. The Maruti Mandir is one of three places in the world which the idol of Lord Hanuman is in the reclining posture. The temple faces south and has two large Hanuman images side by side. Since Lord Hanuman was considered strong and vigorous, there are a few weights and dumbbells kept in the corner.Hanuman is the patron deity of wrestlers. Therefore young men find this place auspicious to exercise.
